Whew.

After a lot of technical difficulties, I’ve finally got the post working properly.

Sorry to all of you who have had your inboxes flooded with updates and thanks for being patient.

Today’s strip is a special one for me, because it’s been exactly one month since this website went live (although it feels like a year). And it has been one hell of a month. So much has happened in such a small amount of time. I never imagined that we would reach a global audience this quickly. We’ve learned a lot.

Unfortunately, our webmaster, UglyGerms, has left the team for personal reasons. He has been an invaluable asset and will be missed. We wish him the best of luck in all of his endeavors.

That said, I will now be taking on his role in addition to writing and drawing Half-Dead. I have a lot to learn about handling the technical side of this site and it will take some time. Bear with me in the meantime as my posts will likely be a little less frequent.

Thanks to everyone who has visited this site and commented, liked it on facebook, spread the word, etc. I look forward to the many months of zombie mayhem to come.

This is an issue that has plagued alcoholics like me for way too long. Maybe this will spread awareness to all those who have stood in the way, ignorant of the internal explosion of panic and desperation happening behind them. I have found myself actually praying to the “beer gods” for a miracle. Oh, they’re real alright. I’ve seen things.

Anywho, Tamara and I went to see AWOLNATION a couple nights ago. Amazing show. Afterward, we got to hang out with the band and get pictures and autographs and all that. Really funny guys. Pics are up over on the facebook machine.

In this strip I wanted to shed some light on the sponsorship element of Half-Dead. Tamara and I had to watch a LOT of those adopt-a-child commercials to come up with the most common and impactful phrases to tug the heartstrings of the denizens of the world. I think it’s pretty effective.

Oh, and the last three numbers are not needed for dialing.

First off, thanks to everyone that has stopped by to view our comic strip. This strip came to us after a sinful night of slamming booze and Mortal Kombat. Really this is a depiction of Mr.Danger crying like a little girl about losing, I’m sure he wanted to rip my thumbs off so he did what he does best, draw it up.

Hello all!

Welcome to Half-Dead; a comic about zombies and humans coexisting in the years following a worldwide outbreak. More specifically, it’s about the main characters Chuck (dealing with his new lifestyle as a half-dead, flesh hungry, zombie) and his human sponsor Eddie. It’s Eddie’s burden to make sure Chuck gets his meds and stays under control and Chuck’s burden to keep from going full-blown zombie at any moment and eating Eddie.

My name is Danny. I’m the artist/writer for Half-Dead. I don’t have a steady update schedule yet, but I promise to post as often as possible until I do. Drop me a line and tell me what you think.
